1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Edugram platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

Edugram is an online educational platform providing study resources, an AI-powered study assistant, a community discussion forum, and related tools for CBSE and NCERT students in Classes 6–12. The Service is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial educational use.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Edugram only for lawful, educational purposes. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Posting content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, or harassing.
  • Sharing exam papers, question papers, or content obtained through academic dishonesty.
  • Uploading or distributing copyrighted material without authorisation.
  • Attempting to access, tamper with, or disrupt the platform or its servers.
  • Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect data from the platform.
  • Impersonating another user, teacher, or Edugram representative.
  • Posting spam, advertisements, or irrelevant promotional content.
  • Engaging in any activity that could harm minors.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, reporting to relevant authorities.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Edugram platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the overall design — is owned by or licensed to Edugram and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content from the platform without our prior written consent.

NCERT content referenced or used on the platform remains the property of the National Council of Educational Research and Training. We do not claim ownership over any third-party educational material.

6. User-Generated Content

By submitting content to the Edugram forum or other interactive areas of the platform (including questions, answers, and comments), you grant Edugram a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You retain ownership of any content you submit. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.

7. AI Assistant

The Edugram AI Assistant is an automated tool designed to support student learning. Please note:

  • AI-generated responses are provided for educational guidance only and may not always be accurate or complete.
  • You should not rely solely on AI responses for examination preparation. Always cross-reference with your official NCERT textbooks and teacher guidance.
  • Conversations with the AI Assistant may be reviewed to improve the service and ensure compliance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Edugram does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

While we strive to ensure the accuracy of educational content, we make no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any study material for any particular examination or purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edugram and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, academic results, or business — arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. Edugram does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, notifying registered users via email.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
